CYP Scotland, recently renamed from The Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs of Scotland, has been in the forefront of youth work since we were formed in 1928. We are now more than ever committed to providing young people with the necessary opportunities, support, skills and positive role models to enable them to become healthy and confident adults.

Our member clubs operate in most geographical areas across Scotland, ranging from the most deprived urban areas to the remotest part of the western isles. Our membership is constantly increasing (we currently work with 20,000 young people each year), bringing new challenges but also new opportunities to work in partnership with young people to improve their quality of life.

The vast majority of our club leaders are unpaid - they give freely of their time in the evenings and weekends to ensure that young people are given the chance to fulfil their potential in a structured and safe environment.

Bourne Gas Services...
The history of Bourne Gas Services starts back in late 2000 when the partners owned and ran a holiday park in South Ayrshire, SW Scotland, and discovered how hard it was to get someone who was CORGI registered to service and maintain their letting and owners static caravans.

So, to resolve this issue Roger Bourne went and got the training and qualifications to become a CORGI registered gas installer for Leisure Accommodation Vehicles. In late 2006 son John Bourne also qualified as a CORGI registered gas installer, Roger and John Bourne set up Bourne Gas Services to run as a full time enterprise.

We now offer a full range of services from CORGI annual safety checks in Holiday Cottages and Static Caravans to commissioning of Holiday Homes, Lodges and domestic appliances..

Southside Group reserve their domain name...
An Edinburgh based developer contacted us with regards to registering his new company domain name that will be largely promoted in Scotland. Southside Group Ltd have a number of developments and we were invited along to the opening of their most recent.

Our services were required days later with our IT team being called in to install their computer network covering all five floors of the development.

Office network take the plunge by jumping onto a new Exchange Server…
We were approached by well respected solicitors in Edinburgh who demanded a solution to their office communications. We have now set up their very own exchange server with the remote users supplied with blackberry phones. Our Email Admin team are on hand to offer support however this is being trialed between working hours only.
